Fakhr-e Torshiz Food Industries Company (under the brand names Kooshan, Aria, and Raya) was established in August 2004 (Mordad 1383, Solar Hijri). The goal of founding the Kooshan brand was to offer healthy and premium products by utilizing the agricultural and livestock capabilities of the region in the field of dairy and other processed agricultural products in the southern area of Razavi Khorasan Province.

From the very first days of establishment, the shareholders and board of directors diligently and perseveringly strived to create a pioneering industry reliant on modern technology, paving the way for the Fakhr-e Torshiz Food Industries factory to emerge as an industrial complex with a nominal production capacity of 11,000 tons of various pasteurized dairy products annually.

This production unit became operational in less than a year, in July 2005 (Tir 1384). Since then and up to the present day, the company has succeeded in obtaining a manufacturing license from the Ministry of Health for all products, acquiring Iranian national standards, ISO 9001 and HACCP certificates from Moody International Tehran, implementing quality control, safety, and customer-oriented processes, and obtaining ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 10002, and ISO 10004 certificates from TÜV NORD Germany.
